Exhibitions
At Hall Place we have three exciting exhibition spaces. The Austen Gallery on the first floor of the main house has been refurbished and is now a magnificent venue for community exhibitions. The new Halcot Gallery in the main house next to reception is a wonderful space for smaller exhibitions, and is particularly suited to the applied or decorative arts. Our largest new space is the Stables Gallery in the visitor centre, where we hold larger or group exhibitions.
From July until December this year we have the following exhibitions:
The Stables Gallery is open the same hours as the visitor centre. The Austen and Halcot galleries are open the same hours as the house. Please note that the Austen Gallery will be closed to the public when there is a function taking place in the Great Hall: if you are making a special journey to see the exhibition, or travelling from some distance, please do phone first to check on 01322 526574.
If you have an idea for an exhibition of community interest or are interested in applying to exhibit in any of our galleries we'd love to hear from you. Please contact us on 01322 526574 or write to Exhibitions Office, Bexley Heritage Trust, Hall Place, Bourne Road, Bexley DA5 1PQ with your proposal.
