Museum events

Among the most exciting changes within Hall Place following the restoration project are the museum galleries on the first floor of  the historic  house.  Rooms not previously open to the public are now bringing to life the history of the house and the borough.

These new museum galleries interpret important periods in history.  From the archaeology of Bexley's earliest settlers to the many changes made to Hall Place by the Victorians and the house's use as an intercept station for operation Ultra in the Second World War.

Spot light displays throughout the year will highlight areas of the museum collection. Discover the museum's early camera collection, explore the history of the local fire service or view ancient coins and fossils; learn something new every time you visit this beautifully restored historic house.

Throughout 2010 our museum galleries continue to give visitors a reason to return to Hall Place. There is always something different to see with our first programme of new museum exhibitions and join in with at our family friendly events.

Details of our 2010 Museum Events will be coming shortly.

Please check back next week for further details.
